I miss Chris Matthews. He at least reported on varied topics and had guests who could speak on them all. Reid is all about race and only race. I stopped watching as she has become predictable and biased. She is misusing the platform she has been given to push her personal agenda. Enough already. The last straw was when she defended that 16 year old girl who was about to MURDER someone and the white cop did his job and shot her. Reid does not mention the capital crime this delinquent was about to commit, instead lumping her in with George Floyd and portrayed her as another innocent black killed by police. Ridiculous. She has lost perspective and objectivity. What she spews is racism as well, it is just in another form.

Her most recent debacle came while interviewing CRT author, Dr. Kindi over comments made by Senator Josh Hawley on the author's comments on racism. Joy, because the quote was SO insane, she just assumed the senator from the other team was wrong. A simple, responsible fact check, or Google search, would have shown the quote was word for word.
If you are that lazy, you do not deserve to be on tv or call yourself a journalist. That's dangerous. -

mherrity13 March 2022MSNBC is not the network I would go to for actual NEWS. I refer to it as "INFOTANMENT Network" JoyAnn Reidis the perfect example of why MSNBC has little if any credibility. Her comments on Kyle Rittenhouse showed the country that facts don't matter but still some people will tune in. Yes, she has fans., but so does the BowWow network and it caters to canine viewers.
This is America and everyone has a right to listen to the channel of their choice. Unformtunately some people can't distinquish facts, from fiction from outright propaganda. -
dcboise5 August 2020I always looked forward eagerly to AMJoy on Saturday/Sunday mornings. Now I get to watch Joy Ann Reid every night. Yes, she is a progressive voice (she is on MSNBC, after all) but appreciates nuanced views, and engages in open debate with those who can discuss topics in good faith. She doesn't suffer fools lightly, though.

nitram-0562811 March 2023I don't like to watch the show now because she speaks so fast it feels like I want to hyperventilate! Perhaps if she could ask questions that were more concise she would not need to be in such a hurry.
In addition the show should be about the news instead of her appearance. Viewers have had to endure her wigs, braids, extentions and now bleached blond crown. Also the bizarre wild color "costumes" she wears distracts from any attempts to present herself as a professional.
Tell her to calm down; slow down and stop trying to be such a "drama queen". Then more of us will be able to focus on her journalistic talent. -

How she has lasted this long is amazing and goes to prove that people are afraid of being honest cuz if they were they would have pulled the wig off along with the plug to this god awful propaganda fronting as a news program! As a black man in America I do not want to be associated with the likes of Joy Reid Whoopie Goldberg or Don Lemon who push this foolish leftist crap at the risk of not having any logic or reasoning.

silence-2625 September 2020Ms. Reid and her network were a bunch of Bernie Sanders bashers throughout 2019/2020 (and back in '16 as well), and I expected little from this show due to that. Those calling Ms. Reid a 'progressive' must be joking. Like many on MSNBC, she's at best a "Republicrat". When she's not busy being a homophobe, she's also fond of slurring Muslims. What a great choice to host a show! Any minute I expect her to pull off a mask only to find Chris Matthews back underneath. Matthews was no longer tolerable to the network, so apparently the MSNBC wiz kids grabbed the closest thing they could find in his place. Someday perhaps we'll get back to real news in the U.S., not endless hours of opinion-hawking from lowlife minimal-mind journos like Reid. Would have preferred a no stars rating, but I don't think IMDB allows it.

mpcomcast28 September 2023I really like Joy Reid because she is a very intelligent and educated woman. On today (9/28), she looked very professional with her suite and hair style. Over the last few shows, her clothes, hair, jewelry and white fingernails have not enhanced her. She should continue to wear a little more conservative solid colored outfits and jewelry. Her nail color of white does not compliment her. She is a beautiful woman and her dressers should rethink the collection of clothes she wears. She often talks a little too fast in getting her point across, but I respect her knowledge and abilities. She is the only African American journalist on MSNBC in the weekly evening shows. More male and female people of color and Asian decent could give a better compliment to the news programs.

At no point in her rambling, incoherent responses were anything even close to that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone is now dumber for having listened to her. Lol I watched her show for 5 minutes and immediately thought of Billy Madison. It really is so insanely stupid I am amazed it's still on the air. My guess is MSNBC is too scared to fire her because all she talks about is race and she is of color. It's completely one sided trash. No rational, no common sense.
The people that watch this show must have IQ's lower than people that watch Jerry Springer.. I felt my IQ actually dropping as I watched all of 5 minutes..Pitiful show.. -

I usually don't even come back and have since found Cuomo followed by Abrams all because of Joy's show. If you're a news junkie that just likes to have stuff on in the background like myself, the algorithm is: watch Ari as he's great and brings a lot of knowledge and perspectives to today's events; trip over yourself to change the channel to ensure your ears don't get assaulted by this drivel --CNN works better at this slot; then move over to Cuomo followed by Abrams for some much needed balance.

MSNBC has some of the worse news style shows on TV/Internet/Cable! However all their hacks and quacks of so called reporters Joy Reid takes the prize for being the worse, most annoying and fake! The stories in her show The ReidOut are as fake and unbelievable as joy's ever changing fake hair colors. Why anyone would listen to this woman is well beyond my understanding and logic unless it just to see what kind of stupid silly crap she will spew! Or perhaps it is to see which guest she will go out of her way to try and belittle and try to make to seem to be the fool and only end up making herself look the loser and fool!
