A failed reporter is bonded to an alien entity, one of many entities who have invaded Earth. But the entity takes a liking to Earth and decides to protect it.
The film's official movie poster is designed in a similar fashion to one of Spider-Man 2 (2004)'s movie posters. In each poster, the design presents the main character's face partially covered by part of his costume.

When Maria rolls off of Eddie and collapses on the lab floor, her head turns to her right, facing away from him, but when Eddie looks at her a moment later, her head is to her left, facing him.
In the credits, Computer Advisory Services were provided by Walter O'Brien of Scorpion Computer Services. The question is, did they use the real or the fictional Walter?
The theatrical release featured an extended clip from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) as a post-credits scene. It was however not included in the internet version.
