When Eddie Brock acquires the powers of a symbiote, he will have to release his alter-ego "Venom" to save his life.
"Venom: Lethal Protector" (1993) describes Eddie Brock's life before meeting the symbiote. While investigating a serial killer, Brock was pressured to accuse the wrong man. Spider-Man catches the real killer and Brock's reputation is destroyed. Brock ends up hating Spider-Man for ruining his career.

After Anne was fired she walked out of the building holding a box full of her stuff. While arguing with Eddie she dropped the box and a few things fell out. However, when she picked the box up nothing was on the ground.
In its entirety, including the two mid-credits sequences, the closing credits sequence lasts for nineteen minutes.
The theatrical release featured an extended clip from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) as a post-credits scene. It was however not included in the internet version.
