I would stick to Nostalgia channel on YouTube as it's much more simple but a hundred times better. This is the typical example of "less is more". On Mundo Mistério you see a huge (HUGE!) effort to make something amazing that is actually just "meh" and very confusing at times. The acting is very poor, specially by the guy that plays Betinho whose character is totally unnecessary and makes everything very silly and childish. The special effects, animations and sound effects are amazing and what actually saves the series. I'm a huge fan of Felipe Castanhari but Mundo Mistério is his first project that disappointed me. A second season is well deserved but there's a lot to be considered and improved. Then again "less is more".

A good production with a dynamic format that fits very well for a science and educational television series. Some dialogues at the lab segments are a little silly, but not a problem considering it intends to be a show for all ages.
  • As a huge fan of Felipe's YouTube content, it's hard not to be underwhelmed by Mundo Mistério. The acting is bad, and I know those 3 guys, especially Bruno Miranda, can do some nice acting when they're truly invested. The sad thing to me is knowing how much time and effort Felipe spent into this. We all know the channel was kept in standby for quite a while, not to mention the absurd loss of The Beatles and the World Cup documentaries. The episodes here last less than half an hour, so I guess that also impoverishes the content. I believe this project grew too big and out of his control for him to handle with the care he usually has for these things. Also, maybe they could've chosen the topics by themselves instead of YouTube Analytics, so we ended up with more interesting and mysterious stuff like quantum computers for instance. I'm hopeful they will improve in season 2, if there is one.
  • This was a brilliant series. The visual explanation of concepts are beyond many great scientific series I have seen. I don't understand the ratings! I really enjoyed this tiny Brazilian collection.

Great editing and production by Felipe Castanhari, although I didn't like the parts with humor.
  • He is a good guy, amazing director, but the lvl shown on netflix is terrible, I prefer his youtube channel. Silly dialogues that mock our intelligence, it presents like a show for all ages, but it is really hard to watch if you're not a child
  • The content is ok, not as great as the YouTube channel, unfortunately. The acting is super cringe, horrible, and totally unnecessary in my opinion. I know it's for all ages, and maybe kids find it interesting, but then again, they could've done this show without Felipe, and let him make his own show, focusing on good detailing and longer documentary-like episodes, in which he's absolutely incredible at.

Again, we have netflix interfering and ruining the original creator's content. Total respect to Felipe, he deserves better.
