It's striper time or time to fish the striped bass. Coot Hall fishes off the coast of Cuttyhunk Island, MA. from his boat. Harry A. Watkins surf fishes for striper along the beaches of Montauk Point, Long Island without the use of a boat. I used to watch fishing shows on weekend mornings. There is something hypnotic and appealing about those shows. This one is missing the fishing porn, the slow excitement of truly reeling in a fish and a lively fish flapping around. Instead, it's a lot of quick cuts, edits, and ends with a dead fish hooked on the end of the line. It's not the same.
