This is a great, entertaining episode. Series 3 episode 3 actually is a prequel to this but is not required (although it gives a little background for extra enjoyment) and this features Yoda battling to bring another planet into co-operation with the republic while Dooku and Assajj Ventress try to get the planet's leader to join the separatists.
Yoda does some really cool battle scenes and strategy as well as delivering some really nice dialogue. It adds interesting depth that this series humanises the clone troops because it seemingly clashes with the way the clones behave in Revenge of the Sith but this all gets explained in later seasons. It adds to the overall story that the clones are shown as thoughtful, independent and sometimes rebellious men in Clone Wars. The scenes where Yoda motivates his clone companions is very enjoyable.
I love the lightsaber action with Yoda and there is a really nice confrontation with Ventress.
