When you see the second shot of the outside of the Chinese restaurant/Ghostbusters base of operation (right after the subway train encounter), you can see the Ecto in the garage...this is before they even got the car from Patty. However, this mistake was digitally removed for the Blu-ray release.
As the trio celebrate their first supernatural encounter outside the haunted mansion, Erin (coated in slime) hugs Abby and ectoplasm sticks to Abby's clothes. In the next shot as they continue hopping up and down there is no slime on Abby.
When we first meet Kevin a big deal is made that he has no lenses in his glasses, but glass appears and disappears in his glasses throughout the movie.
When Patty is showing the scene of the railroad ghost, her red MTA ID is hanging from her bag. In the MTA, red IDs are for male employees while female employees have blue IDs.
Jillian Holtzmann refers to Pringles as "salty parabolas". A parabola is a curve in a plane. The actual shape of a Pringles is a hyperbolic paraboloid, i.e. slices along one axis are parabolas while slices along the other axis are hyperbolas.
There is no restaurant across the street from Hook & Ladder No. 8's firehouse.
Incorrectly regarded as goofs
At first glance, it would seem that Erin has awards from various physics organizations on the wall of her office at Columbia University, but that they all use the exact same formatting, including the same font. Upon closer inspection (high-def Blu-ray helps), they are actually different awards from the same organization ("The American Physical Society"). As such, it would not be unreasonable for them to all have the same formatting and fonts.
Erin says "Mercado" is Spanish for table; mercado is Spanish for market. It's running gag that Erin is really bad at Spanish. Earlier, she mistranslated what the theater janitor was saying when he went past on a gurney.
The Graffiti Artist does not appear to switch to a different spray can when drawing the red "no" symbol over the ghost, which he had drawn in black. If you look closely though, he has a can of spray paint in each of his hands. One black and one red. He uses his left hand to spray the black and his right to spray the red.
Someone at the rock concert is filming the ghost with their smartphone, but the screen on the phone is the home screen instead of the scene that they would be filming.
Crew or equipment visible
When Martin Heiss visits the new office, he sits down. In the window behind him, you can see the reflection of a camera light flashing off and on.
The women complain about their company being called "Ghost Busters" but they themselves have named their YouTube Channel "Ghost Busters" instead of something else that they might have preferred.
When Abby is being thrown around the alley while testing the proton pack, the position of her hands changes. If she could move her hands enough and still keep hold of it, why didn't she just let go? Her finger wouldn't have been on the trigger any more, so she wouldn't have been in any danger.
Boom mic visible
Throughout the movie the shadow of the sound mike is seen above the actors heads, in the background.
Holtzmann, a tech elite, refers to the shape of a Pringles chip as a parabola (which is a curved line), but technically such a chip has the shape of hyperbolic paraboloid (which is a curved plane) which has parabolic cross-sections in two of three dimensions.
Abby claims she smells isotopic decay on one of the fragments in the subway. Isotopes within the same element smell the same.
Garrett repeatedly refers to the father of Gertrude Aldridge "Sir Aldridge". Assuming that this character was a British national who owned a title of knighthood, he would properly be referred to as "Sir" followed by his first name, not his surname. E.g., Sir Isaac Newton was "Sir Isaac" not "Sir Newton".
