The carpet in the hallway outside the apartment is the same as the carpet in the overlook hotel from The Shining (1980)
The song on the radio is "Por una Cabeza", a tango song written in 1935 with music by Carlos Gardel and lyrics by Alfredo Le Pera. It's been used in several other media such as movies like "True Lies". At the beginning of the game (and with each loop) "The Wife" is humming the song in the bathroom as your character enters the room.
Luis Antonio originally envisioned that the game would be set in a neighborhood over the course of 24 hours. Realising that the concept would be too big for him, he not only reduced the timespan, but also chose that the game should take place in a single apartment.
The voice acting sessions took place during the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, when the world was in general lockdown. Because of that, Annapurna Interactive made sure that the actors could work in safe locations.
