PG-13 | | Horror, Mystery, Thriller
A group of people are trapped in an elevator and the Devil is mysteriously amongst them.
The end credits do not call any of the people trapped in the elevator by their names, just their occupations or what they are, e.g. "Older Woman."
When I was a child, my mother would tell me a story about how the Devil roams the Earth. Sometimes, she said, he would take human form so he could punish the damned on Earth before claiming their souls. The ones he chose would be gathered together ...
When the security staff tell them in the elevator that they will be switching off the lights. Despite the fact that there is only one way communication, the passengers start shouting and get panicked and the security man tells them it's OK folks no need to panic we just want you to know what's going to happen next.
Upside down shots from a helicopter of a city as the opening credits roll.
