A bit like House of Games, with more parlour games! Really good fun, and some great guests over the course of the series (a few dud ones along the way admittedly, but mostly very funny!). Pascoe is great and really grows into her role as host as the series progresses. Definitely worth watching.

Failed to get through the first episode - completely mindless minor celebrity ego massaging with Sarah Pascoe shouting over the top of it all. Actual game is as engaging as a DIY lobotomy for anyone with an IQ in double figures. Do yourself a favour, spend the time you'd waste watching this doing absolutely anything else!
  • I hope this gets renewed. Too many British quiz shows are one-and-done. A good laugh.
  • Warning: Spoilers
Interesting idea that could be fun but it fails so misserably. Sara pascoe is an excellent comedian but not a good presenter at all, it seems like shes scared and that makes her rely to heavily on the cards and talk like a robot. Some of the rules for games make them stilted and no good for tv (an entire round of one person from each team mouthing words does not make for good tv) and the so called 'assistant' John Kearns is competely superfluous and not remotely funny (i remember him from 8 out of 10 cats does countdown and he was just as annoying on there as well, it seems to be his shtick)

also if you pay attention you will hear sara say every episode that the team that guesses whos in the mystery box wins no matter the points, this renders the entire competition up until the mystery box at the end a pointless waste of time.
  • Great laugh! It's not the smartest show or the silliest but a good laugh at the moment none the less if you want a pick me up with a good British cast-shame they don't really make shows like this anymore! Good selection of guests with fun party game styled rounds. Not sure why some of these reviews seems to have taken personal offense to a comedy show but I'd recommend if you want a good bit of mindless fun
  • It's bad enough that the sold called celebrity guests are as dull as a busted light bulb but this is small in comparison to the annoyance of Sarah Pascal's voice and laugh basically the show is pointless. Even listening to the trailer i.e Katherine Ryan makes me me throw up in my mouth.
  • John kearns absolutely ruins this show. I mean, Sarah pascoe can disappear too but that can slide. The idea behind the show is great, but the execution is just wrong on so many levels.
  • The thing is with guests being random some episodes have moments of humour and entertainment, the three stars is for them and the funny moments and nothing really to do with the host, show or format.

I'm really big on equality, but with logic and the best people for the job, Sara Pascoe is not a comedian she's an angry woman who wants to do every new age fad to say she's a "vegan" or any of the other things she declares she is. There is no humour, she's a dreadful host, after destroying sewing bee she keeps getting tv time, I've not met a single person who likes her. She's robotic in her delivery, has this laugh that feels like she's saying "I'm better than you and more successful here's some pity" I'd gladly never see her on tv again, please stop putting untalented people on tv because they tick a box

Darron with his weird teeth and strange accent and for some reason Alan who feels like he is on the wrong show, it's just not a trio, normally Radom groups are made of people who struggle with chemistry with others.

    John kearns is a treat.

Format is dead, boring, all these Dave shows are cheap tacky parodies.
