Even if you don’t like Boston, you’ve heard them. The group’s hits, like the transcendent “More Than a Feeling,” right on down to “Peace of Mind” or “Amanda,” have remained staples of rock radio for nearly half a century (the group’s self-titled debut turned 40 last year) thanks to, among other things, their impeccable craftsmanship. To talk about Boston is to talk about Tom Scholz, who’s been the literal architect and driving force behind the group since its inception. Currently in the middle of Boston’s Hyperspace tour with Joan Jett, Scholz sat down with People...

"I'm not going to cry," Kelly Rowland swears over the phone to Et. But just as the pop star assures herself she won't, on the day of President Donald Trump's inauguration, Rowland finds herself unable to stop.
She tries to collect herself, but the crying persists. "Sorry for the tears," Rowland, 35, apologizes.
Ahead of the Saturday premiere of her new Lifetime movie, Love By the 10th Date, about four magazine employees juggling romance with career ambitions, Rowland got candid with Et.
Not only did Rowland not hold back on the baby tips she received from Beyoncé, why her forthcoming album won't be about sex and her lack of interest in a Destiny's Child biopic, the girl group alum couldn't help but get emotional over imagining who her "future daughter" will look up to without Michelle Obama in the White House.

It’s been half a year since Above & Beyond revealed the first track from their all-acoustic album, Acoustic II, and as its release date nears they’ve finally starting revving up their promotional engine. Last week they shared three track previews from the follow up to 2014’s Acoustic, and now they’ve uploaded one for “Blue Sky Action” as well.
As with the other track previews, the one for “Blue Sky Action” pairs the vocal of the original (in this case contributed by singer/songwriter Alex Vargas) with rich, symphonic instrumentals. The original song honestly wasn’t my favorite thing Above & Beyond has released, but somehow it makes more sense as an acoustic ballad.
As for Acoustic II, the album will come out through Above & Beyond‘s own Anjunabeats record label on June 3rd. Look out for more previews from the upcoming effort in the weeks leading up to its release,...

Pearl Jam cancelled their April 20 show in Raleigh via a handwritten note in which they called HB2 “a despicable piece of legislation” Ringo Starr scrapped a show in Cary scheduled in June. “All you need is love,” he said. Boston won’t be playing “Peace of Mind” or “More Than A Feeling” in North Carolina, cancelling the three shows they had in the state during their summer tour. Even porn sites are joining in on the protest. One such site, XHamster, announced they would IP block any users trying to access the site from North Carolina. Lgbt advocate Cyndi Lauper took a similar.

Last month, he was arrested on charges of misdemeanor domestic battery, obstruction of justice, drug possession with intent to distribute and possession of contraband in jail, but Orlando Brown says the cops got it all wrong.
The “That’s So Raven” star’s problems began when a witness told police that Orlando was beating up his girlfriend in the police station parking lot, however, according to Brown’s Thursday morning (February 18) Instagram post, he’s innocent.
Orlando wrote, “Right When I Find Peace Of Mind, TMZ Says Its ‘Ridiculing Time’…. So ‘Allegedly’ I Beat My Women Up.. And Walked Into Torrance Jail With ‘Kristal Meth’ On Me … Brace Yourselves For This One … ‘The Devil Is A Lie I Feel Him Breathing’ Kanye Said It Best … Its Ok Thoe … Be Sure To Watch TMZ … This Is An Interesting One … Even To Me! Real Talk! Blessings!!! Mr. Brown!”...

It’s been three and a half years since Group Therapy, the Above & Beyond album that helped solidify the DJs’ status as trance legends. Now, the British trio is back with We Are All We Need, a decidedly more uplifting and celebratory piece of work, and one, that like their last effort, shows us why Paavo, Tony and Jono are still at the top of their game. While it may not be a completely surprising collection of music, the album’s uplifting hooks, angelic vocals and club ready anthems make it a welcome addition to the group’s impressive discography.
Featuring tracks with frequent collaborators like Zoë Johnston and Alex Vargas, who made his debut on Above & Beyond’s acoustic album last year and sings on no less than five occasions here, We Are All We Need presents an exciting 16-song mix that is for the most part, completely devoid of any filler.

January 19th is quickly approaching, and that means that we’re only days away from the release of the new Above & Beyond album, We Are All We Need. The British dance music legends have amassed an extremely loyal fanbases over the years thanks to their emotional and often beautiful trance anthems, and from what we’ve heard of their upcoming release, that trend looks set to continue.
Though the boys have already given us a few singles to whet our appetite, including “We’re All We Need” (which you can check out above), today they’ve gone one step further and are now offering the entire album up for streaming purposes over on iTunes Radio. We may have already heard a good handful of these tracks, but there’s tons of new material for our eager ears and after two full listens, I’m absolutely loving it.
Highlights, for myself at least,...

Above & Beyond are gearing up to release their new album We Are All We Need, and though we’ve already heard a handful of singles from it, we now have an extended preview of the whole disc to share with you.
Dropping on January 20th, We Are All We Need features regular collaborators like Alex Vargas and Zoë Johnston quite heavily, with each singer making multiple appearances on the album. The 16-track release certainly sounds like another gem from the British trance trio, as every song carries that same power and emotion that the group’s music is known for.
From already released singles like “We’re All We Need” and “Sticky Fingers” to unreleased tracks like “Peace of Mind” and “Fly Me To New York” (which was featured in the ABGT100 aftermovie), everything here sounds absolutely perfect and I have no doubt in my mind that this will be one of 2015’s best albums,...

We caught up with Clark Gregg to talk all about the show’s return, Coulson’s dark secrets, Victoria Hand’s intentions, and whether we should hold out hope for Mike:
Entertainment Weekly: Are we finally getting some answers after the day after Coulson died?
Clark Gregg: Yes. Yes. Yes.
