This is the second of three Swedish versions of Sesame Street (1969). The other two, simply named Sesam, feature content from the original show only, dubbed in Swedish (so-called Open Sesame productions). They were originally broadcast in 1975-1976 and 1996-1998 and consist of 26 and 30 half-hour episodes respectively.

Ernst Günther and Gösta Prüzelius voiced the Cookie Monster and Grover in all three versions, while Lars Amble voiced Kermit the Frog in the first two. In the first version Ernie and Bert were voiced by Björn Gustafson and Carl Billquist, while they were voiced by Magnus Ehrner and Steve Kratz in the third.
