The Looniversity in the original series was a high school. In this series, it is a college/university.
Unlike in the original series, Buster and Babs are related as twin siblings. This eliminates the "no relation" gag, as well as all romantic feelings they had for each other.
Ashleigh Crystal Hairston replaces Tress MacNeille as the voice of Babs Bunny.
