Marc Cushman is incorrectly credited as director on the DVD box for this movie. Markman wrote the script and planned the production, but, days before filming was scheduled to begin, he fell ill and was replaced by producer Frank Castle. With the change, Castle lost John Decker, the male lead Markman had cast, and decided to play the part himself.
