I really enjoyed seasons 1-3 and was so excited when I saw this come up. Unfortunately, because of Covid, they weren't able to film live action so it switched to animated.
It's super weird, but the animators did a good job on the some of the characters. I might keep watching.

Loved the first seasons. Tuned into the start of this one eagerly, and after 5 minutes I was Googling to see if the cartoon nonsense was the new normal...horrified to find out that it is. Did they cut the budget or something? Are they trying to be like Archer? Whatever it is, the humour does not translate and I stopped watching the episode before even finishing it. I will now be removing this show from my watch list.

I thought there was something wrong with my tv when it started as a cartoon! Maybe it was a dream sequence and all of a sudden it would be back to real people in real scenes. But Noooooo! The whole season is a cartoon and it just does not work ! I made it 10 minutes in the episode 1 season 4. What a let down, and who ever thought this was a good idea should be replaced by a bot bot. You should have just put it on hold until 2022, we would have waited. But now... I'm out!

Nice work taking a chance on animation (and surprising the crap out of some fans apparently). A lot of work to animate, to try something new to see what could happen. No idea if the whole season will be like this. Same main characters plus Will Forte, same level of funny writing move the show in an interesting direction. Let's see what happens.

It's always sad to watch good shows go down hill. In this case, however, it's like watching the Hindenburg disaster, "Oh the humanity!"
While the reasons for trying to remake No Activity as an animated show might have been well intentioned and/or practical in nature, the transition away from live action did a massive disservice to both earlier iterations.
Gone is the haphazard and edgy improvisational feel of the Australian and American versions of this show. Absent too are the all important facial expressions that carried so much of the humor in the originals series.
In place of all that zany and irreverent comedy you get an off-putting, lackluster animated show that does not deliver with jokes or visual interest. While the animation is highly stylized, as well as vividly colored, it comes across and wooden and unoriginal. More importantly, it serves as a very ineffective vehicle for No Activity's brand of humor, with the pilot of season four generating virtually no laughs.
Ultimately, this most recent incarnation of a much loved show fails to be entertaining or unique in either the cartoon or comedy genre. I am truly saddened to see a once great show fall so far, so fast, but it is what it is. No Activity simply does not work in this new format.

How ridiculous can you get? I kept waiting for the 'gag' to be over and for the real actors to show up. Then finally went online and discovered that they changed it to animation this season. Sorry. I'm not 10 years old! Don't go from live action to animation and expect the fans to keep watching,

I really enjoyed this show and was looking forward to season 4. I could not believe what happened. It was turned into a cartoon series. No thanks, I am not watching anymore.

Why would you make a cartoon out of a great show, it doesn't work, it's annoying and not funny at all.
