Two of the films crucial scenes were set to be filmed in the snow. Director Edward Rosenblum and Producer Arusha Baker decided to go for the gold, and shoot in real snow, in Dorrington CA, the location closest to San Francisco as possible. Unlike the seven years prior, The ground was dry up until two days before the shoot. Luckily the crew got the snow they were pitching for - and then some.
Sam E. Rubin's mom's car got stuck in the snow on the way to Dorrington. Sam and his mom had to hitchhike to the Dorrington Hotel to get to the shoot on time.
