Certainly the show is not for everyone and not everyone will appreciate it's sweet tone. I am a Spanish speaker so the show is easier for me to enjoy. It took me away to another place and time and I am thoroughly on board. Can't wait to see how it turns out.

I have no clue why everyone expects everything should be so deep when new shows are released.. this show ROCKS! Its nostalgic and extremely original and makes you feel good while watching. Why in the world is that a bad thing? The acting is good the character chemistry is fantastic and the storyline is something everyone can relate to. I am giving this show a 10/10!

The people that are giving this show bad reviews really don't know what they are talking about. I don't want to assume but I feel that most of the hate comes from the show being bilingual. I hope they get a season 2. I'm invested now.

I just found this show during my free trial of AppleTV+ and I've managed to binge most of it in a single night. I'm already glad there's gonna be a second season coming out soon! So, not only is this show a throwback to the 80s in terms of esthetic, it's a throwback to the days of writing character arcs that don't move to fast or aren't chopped up. Every person has a reason to be on screen and advance the story, which never lulls. Between the story, acting and production values, I can't really ask much more from a show. Glad I started it, and I will continue watching. Kudos to everyone involved!

It is promising as a nice comedy tv series. I'm also enjoying the way it portrays excesses from the '80s.

Could be a surprising underdog tv series as it was for Ted Lasso.
