When falling in the river Lara ends up on a rusty crashed airplane. The body work of that plane would had been made of aluminum, as iron is way too heavy. This would not result in a brown rust patine, as aluminum turns white when it corrodes.
SPOILER: The title doesn't appear on screen until the end of the film. Following this is a brief scene of Lara returning to the pawn shop where she sold her pendant earlier in the film. She then purchases two guns, implying she will continue the fight in sequel films (a brief clip of this scene appeared in the first trailer for the movie).
