Star-ving (2009) Poster

David Faustino plays himself as a struggling actor in this very entertaining web series. Great cameos and several appearances by former Married with Children cast members.

| Finally something good on Crackle
Star-ving is a web series of episodes running eight to ten minutes, based very loosely on the life of David Faustino from Married... with Children. His co-star is Corin Nemec, who played the title character in Parker Lewis Can't Lose. The start date for the episodes was January 16, 2009. The series is a production of FNB Entertainment LLC in association with Sony Pictures Television, web cast on Crackle.

Why Crackle hasn't re-newed this series is beyond me. I wish a cable network would pick it up. I've watched all the crackle original programming and every series sucks wind except this one. It's actually very funny and surreal. In some ways it reminds me a little bit of The Trailer Park Boys or Sunny in Philly..

David was only in his early-mid 30s during this shooting, but he looks like he's in his late 40s. Hard life. Bring it back!
