A thief, who steals corporate secrets through the use of dream-sharing technology, is given the inverse task of planting an idea into the mind of a CEO.
If you take the first letters of the main characters' names - Dom, Robert, Eames, Arthur, Mal and Saito - they spell "Dreams". If you add Peter, Ariadne and Yusuf, the whole makes "Dreams Pay", which is what they do for a mind thief.
He was delirious but asked for you by name. Show him...
Japanese Security Guard: He was carrying nothing but this...
Japanese Security Guard: And this...
Saito: Are you here to kill me?
The first car that blow up doesn't have an engine, radiator or fan installed. You can see the front right tire through the front grill.
The movie title never appears in the beginning of the movie, but appears three times during the end credits. Once at the beginning, again after the main actors and developers, and once more at the very end.
