A class of vaguely delusional film students fumble their way through a five-day workshop intensive, headed up by a psychotic has-been.
Dedicated to the memory of Alek Talevich's childhood friend Nick Papac.
During the scenes featuring Richie Sandbom as "The Keckler A/V Kid", Ben is visibly skinnier than in the previous scenes, and Thomas' hair is considerably shorter. This footage was shot six months after the initial three-day blitz, during which the cast and crew were well into the pre-production of John Everett Allis' "Gunfights".
Three cuts of the film exist: an "extended" version which clocks in at nearly an hour and forty-five minutes and includes various sub-plots and longer scenes, a "theatrical cut" which premiered at Seattle True Independent Film Festival 2009, and a "web-series" cut which divides the film into eight episodes and includes scenes excised for the theatrical version.
