Good job on the writers solving the conflict that was supposedly "built up" by 5 previous seasons in 5 minutes.
It's really a really hard achievement to make a 30-minute finale that feels like an hour and you want it to end so badly.
It is just baffling to imagine what the high budget of this show went to. My guess is Samuel L. Jackson needed a new yacht or something because 80% of this show is just people talking inside rooms and rundown buildings. I guess the usual Marvel big CGI fight of the finale could also justify it a little bit. What I don't understand, is that if the budget of the show is movie-level high, then why not make a movie or a tv movie? If you're not making low-budget shows, then why do they look like it? Also fun fact, Oppenheimer cost half the budget of this show.
I've been too lenient on my MCU shows' and their episodes' ratings, but I just cannot anymore. This is just another boring trash after the previous boring trash. The only good thing that came out of MCU shows was Loki and the first 80% of WandaVision.
This show is just a joke. It was episode 2 I think that was nearly 50 minutes and I thought "Oh good, at least this show isn't gonna be half an hour like every other one" and thought they were gonna be 6 one-hour episodes. And what a fool I was. I knew I shouldn't put much faith into a Disney Plus show.
Gravik is just one of the worst villains I've seen in a while after that woman villain from Mrs. Marvel. It's like I don't even know if this show had actual professional writers or if they actually made an AI watch the entire MCU and write them a new script. I honestly wouldn't put it past them, they made the intro with AI after all.
I also love how confidently the writers put so much focus on Fury and his wife as if one single person watching this gives a flying fork about literally any character or the story, if there is even a story.
This is just awful, and unless you want to waste 4 or whatever hours of your time like Joker burns money, stay away from this trash.
