This is reality TV in the fashion world. Three interns go to Marie Claire's office in New York to run errands, take notes, and work in different departments. So far we've seen all the usual ingredients of this genre of TV - voiceovers, talking to camera, tensions between the three (all deluded about their own importance!), plus a peek into the day to day working of everyone on the regular staff.
The three interns are fairly dull and tedious - Ashley is a bit of a moaner; Samantha pouts and rolls her eyes; Talina is a quiet plotter who sees herself as superior. They've all messed up their assignments so far - which is always fun - so who knows there the series will go from here.
The interest is in seeing regular Marie Claire staff as real people who worry and panic about their work; alongside the snappy film techniques, theme song, and the real pleasure of seeing a bunch of bitchy women destined for failure ...
