I believe story writer needs to be little prudent...
Many instances looked being cast hurriedly n the interactions in many instances were not deep n seemed to be done in a hurried manner not doing much justice to the emotions/reactions involved during many scenes..but when the end approached the movie took a superb turn and it did all the justice to be watched for one time or more...
If the director n story writer had made little efforts to add little intensity & sense to some scenes then this movie couldve been a blockbuster...
End was amazing n too touching...it owns a room in my heart forever...
& it was a city of Mathura...It reminded me of a luv between Radha & Krishna...
Such a spiritual movie...One should not miss it...

cifarshayar6 October 2022With the kind of theme they have chosen and the actors they have taken a better version of the movie is possible but I think makers have lost this opportunity opportunity.
Prateek Gandhi and Jackie Shroff like actors are wasted but even under this story and screenplay they have delivered nice performances. The movie is a simple story of ageless,timeless love which don't have any twists and turns to bind the audience. Its end in a beautiful note realizing the audience the beauty of true love.
With bhoot in it I was expecting some magic/adventure/mystery within this story which was not there in it. -

With a very fresh cast with Pratik Gandhi and Sharmin as the lead pair this film tickles you with love in every possible way. It was a treat to eyes to see Jackie Shroff @apnabhidu playing such a beautiful character. Atithi Bhooto Bhava is a must watch film if you are the romantic kinds and a must must must watch if you are a non romantic practical partner in your relationship 😄 Kudos to the entire team that made such a feel good film, superb music. Arijit Singh's song "Pakhi hua re" is the cherry on the cake.

abhishekborikar1 October 2022Doesn't worth time at all. People will definitely get just emotional with ending of movie. Bollywood needs to get more mature now. Some really childish movies are being presented. No message, no fun, no comdey, no thriller, no drama whole movie ends with single scene, just feeling regret of wasting time man. And as pratik Gandhi was involved, I was having little better expectations. Real advice would be to watch some other movies or web series and not to go on faces on posters. Love Stories of Bhoot is really an out of fashion idea. People these days are expecting an another level of contents.

The story itself is very kiddish and raw in all aspects the humor is very low kind the love story is totally immature the ghost funda is also totally childish the songs were not presentable the performance were below standards....
The movie is same ideology of PHILLAURI featuring anushka Sharma but that was a cult in itself....
The movie had good room for humour and the makers could had used pratik in a better way....
Both the movies released on ott were not up the required expectations let's see now how jamtara season 2 performs... -

It is a mixture of romance, comedy, and emotions. It will rate it 8 out of 10 because they could have made the ending a little bit more memorable. I will cut one more star because they could have made the movie a little bit more horror. But you will not feel this is a horror movie in any way. It's a full entertainment and you will be excited about what happens next. There's a great message in this movie to appreciate our loved ones and express it in time.
Besides that, the movie is perfect. There's no complaint in the movie. Superb acting by Jackie Shroff and all the actors involved. Don't miss this movie. You must watch it. -

Story, screenplay, acting, BGM in all categories it falls apart, such loud and pain for the ear BGM and even doesn't fit the occasions. Dialogues are forgettable, had to skip the scenes continuously to reach the end of this disaster. Pratik Gandhi's casting is a complete misfit for the character, only good action mention is of Sharmin Segal. Don't want to mention about Jackie Shroff, why? Why? His recent movie choices have been too dull. Even if there's no other option to watch you can still skip this one and better rewatch some other good watchable movie.

Pratik is just n ordinary actor.. he is an overated srar not the actor for sure, after 1992 scam webseries..!!
Pratik Gandhi and Jackie Shroff's Supernatural Road Trip is Forgettable!, Predictable Fairy Tale Romance - The problem with Atithi Bhooto Bhava is evident at the start itself. We know where the movie is headed and how it will end. Even the characterizations have the same effect. -

The character development is also very thoughtful and characters' chemistry is well depicted. Watch this one heart and not logic. Director had a clear picture of what will be seen by audience and which is the best way to put it forth.
All undercurrent stories are given space to be understood and accepted the audience. It is movie worth spending hard earned bucks in cinema halls and multiplexes.
Spiritual yet romantic yet realistic. -

Seen HATKE LOVESTORY after so long time, but genes wala scene nikal dete or dusri parallel love story bhi success hoti to maja aa jata. Very little but effective time for parallel lovestory but there is different personality for different side. The way it was produced, UP should be the next HOUSE OF FILM. From mumbai to mathura trip need more work, specially driver doent know what is going on.
The way movie ended was really amazing plot and mixing of root of indian culture.
Thank you for making me again watch Hindi cinema. Thank you very much. -
tapan-2154327 September 2022I really liked the movie. It's a light movie with humour, emotions and good characters. A lot better could be done but still it was overall a watchable movie. Some of the scenes were able to make good impact with the emotions and similarly some of the comedy scenes were worth laugh and smiles. I didn't expect the movie to be this good as I never heard of it before. All the best to Prateek, Shamina, Jackie daa Divina and the rest of the movie cast. Divina could have been utilised in the better way for sure. She made the impact with that little role as well. Hope to see more in future and will be watching for sure!

beingbhagwa26 September 2022Watched it with zero expectations but was delighted with the storyline and the actors. Pratik is versatile and the movie would have been incomplete without Jackie Shroff. It gets bit slow mid way through but that's quite common in Hindi movies where the steam wiggles out.
Actresses could have been better. Comedy is simple and more so situational so there's no agenda of forcing any narrative or cheap humour. Actors were refreshing, all of them seem to have stage acting background so they were quite methodical and had good presence. The storyline is pretty straightforward, easy on eyes and ears so it makes a good entertainer for your weekend watch. -

It is a story of various love stories which compliment each other from Makhan's love for Manju, srikant's love for netra to Sucharita's love for rohit and her mother's love for her husband. Each story teaches something to the main characters which help them to understand love. It is a story of magic when finally a ghost's love is able to give mukti to Manju's stuck Soul. Romance hi romance ha.
Music is awesome with melodies like gulmohar and pakhi. Arijit, shahid and ankit have sung beautifully.
Film lacks pace at places and could have been a little more funny but still the end is emotional and punchy enough to make you forget the rest.
This film may not be liked by all but will surely will remind u of your love. -

Recommended for family viewing. Cinematography is good, actors are good and humour is as expected. Good work by all actors and the ending is simply brilliant. The director has good command overall and scenes are nice. Loved the coverage of Laddu Gopal and krishana temple. The way actor dwells from present to past and back to present and realising own mistakes during his journey is beautifully captured. Movie keeps audience captive to the last minute.

Raunak_236 November 2022The movie ends at a very special node. It takes us through a journey of life and after life. Explain a lot about undone works of past life. The movie packs some good and clean comedy scenes, nothing overdone though. Story goes a little off track in between for 5-6 mins. The plot and punches could have been a little better. It's one of the finest performance of jackie dada, very different from his previous appearances. Pratik and Sharmin have done a great job as well, but the chemistry goes a little un elaborated. But in the end its a enjoyable journey and a must watch for everyone with family.

It was absolutely unexpected and it turned out to be one of the best decisions. Sweet, simple love story that can make you believe in love. Its a story which has love and laughter and emotions at the same time. Music of this movie is awesome. It moves slowly and with every every new scene added to it makes you love it more. It will make you believe in soulful and unconditional love. No matter how far you stay from your loved one,no matter how long you were not in touch,if your emotions and feelings are pure,God makes sure to that your ending is always happy. Never expected this movie would steal my heart so easily. Highly recommended for the family watch. Watch it so that you start believing in unconditional love.

Great job by director and story writer. Great cast and act by Pratik sir and Jackie sir people who like watching love stories will surely love this and perfect pinch of comedy throughout the movie. One can see the talent of Pratik sir playing 2 roles may be not with perfection by but the best way he did. Jackie sir too nailed it the way keeping to role so simple and with emotions.
