A biography of Ian Dury, who was stricken with polio at a young age and defied expectations by becoming one of the founders of the punk-rock scene in Britain in the 1970s.
Sir Peter Blake designed the type used in the title sequence and the first part of the end credits. Blake, who designed the cover of "Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" and other albums, was Ian Dury's tutor at the Royal College of Art in the 60s. He also designed the cover for Ian Dury tribute album, "Brand New Boots and Panties".

In the end titles one song is named as "If I was a woman" the actual title is "If I was with a woman".
