Bangor, Maine is the only US location used in the film (which is set in the fictional town of Derry). All other location shooting was done in Canada.

When Bev is knocked out in IT's hide out, we see drops of blood fall. Three land on her left cheek, waking her up. Within seconds she is on her feet and the drops are no longer visible.
At the start of the end credits, the It logo appears on screen, but this time with 'Chapter One' added across it. This reveals the movie's full name, and also shows that this is only the beginning.
