The group NWA emerges from the mean streets of Compton in Los Angeles, California, in the mid-1980s and revolutionizes Hip Hop culture with their music and tales about life in the hood.
M.C. Ren was a founding member of NWA and wrote or co-wrote the majority of the lyrics for the Eazy-E solo album Eazy Duz It and the NWA follow-up EP 100 Miles and Running and LP EFIL4ZAGGIN. In the movie, he is primarily portrayed as Eazy-E's sidekick.
