There always seems to be something about the second episode of each season for Legends that just delivers a very lackluster episode. Sure, there were some good jokes here and there, and I liked getting more from Spooner and seeing the Zari/Behrad relationship explored a bit more, but there wasn't much substance to this episode. But there was a substance.

The story didn't move forward much. Sara crash landed on the planet they were originally taking her to, her and Gary had a strange interaction with a... local? (This has some explaining to do!) And the A-story with the rest of the Legends only gave us a dead alien and no momentum with the storyline. We didn't learn anything new.

50's aesthetic was fun and I loved the Big Belly origin story here, but kind of a stagnant episode that didn't carry the same momentum as the premiere.

Still interested to see where Sara's story is going, but man, I wish Gary wasn't her companion. I wish she would meet up with other aliens/displaced people and get her own story without having to share it with Gary, though I guess he makes a good sounding board for learning about other aliens and planets.

"It's on our wind-shear!" LOL, you made it worse. Speaking about 1955, it's giving me terrible Delta and the Bannermen vibes. Not to be rude but, I can not stand Zari's character. She is insufferable, uninteresting, a quirky personality. About Gary's Planet, it's interesting that it's pink and has plants that can liquify you. Terrifying. Yet, oh my god. Amelia Earheart is involved! God knows wherever she is. It's an interesting but maybe creative concept where the alien is the secret sauce itself because it loves meat and what is making the company get more customers. It is revealed that the creature itself isn't just liquid. It's a Mothra-hybrid creature that can roar sounding similar to Godzilla. I like where Zari, Behrad, and Nate solve the problem by using the Dragon Ash supplement, teamwork! In the end, what a twist! Amelia Earhart doesn't seem like herself, but an alien with super-speed!

I am wary of looking forward to the next episode.

    7/10.
  • This is the best dc show on tv! Self deprecating. Funny. Silly. Heartwarming. Action. Time travel. Magic. Gods. Demons. High jinx and now aliens. I have watched the old seasons 3 time already.
  • This season is shaping up to be one of the best. Love how much Sara and Ava are fighting their way back to each other, that's love. Ava is becoming a great leader in Sara's absence & Gary + Sara's moments are comedy gold. It was also nice to see Behrad and Zari 2.0 grow as siblings and learn how to share xD.
  • This show has completely lost its marbles.

Does anyone behind the scenes care about quality anymore? Have they even seen good TV?

    Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.

    Stupid squared. Cubed, even.

I like the actors and most of the characters (except Constantine and Behrad). But the writing on this show has gone off a cliff.
  • This was Good burger meets McDonald's meets cocoon and the Fly. Waste of script and time.

This episode is even more terrible than the previous one , they should've cut Gary 3 seasons back.
  • Loved this show from season 1 but it should've ended after season 4,i love weird stories but this stuff is just garbage, stupid stories, stupid dialogue, forced comedy that's more gringy than funny, "double fisting"!! Yikes this show is scraping the proverbial barrel.

Every character acts stupid & thick while trying to be comedic & childish is boring & pointless, another fail from CW, this show is childish & cringy & not a patch on the brilliant Doom Patrol.
  • Rip off of the movie. It's like the writer's gave up on any new ideas.
  • This season is looking to be the dumbest, most ridiculous season of any show in history. This episode is already the most inane episode of almost any show I've ever seen. SO DUMB. It was actually quite intolerable. I just skipped half of it. And I know I missed nothing. The whole theme of aliens is old and abused. REALLY hoping it gets better.

There is definitely not enough of Mick.

I hate Spooner and really hope she is a very short lived character.

Behrad is SO ANNOYING and childish-can't stand him and wish he'd never been put on the show. He adds absolutely nothing to it (except annoyingness).

This version of Zari is also getting old. I'm a bit sick of her.

I've never cared much for Ava... And I'm not even gonna get started on how sick I am of her and Sarah's "relationship" that they keep totally shoving down our throats.

I'll give it another episode or so, but it continues with this inanity and crackbrained garbage, I'll quit watching and try again next season. Oh well.
