Recent leaks by Mayumi Tanaka (Krillin/Yajirobe), Sean Schemmel (Goku/King Kai), and Kyle Herbert (Adult Gohan/Former Narrator) have confirmed that Foreign Demand lead to the series being picked back up for an overseas release of the Majin Buu arc, completing the series.
Mr. Satan's punch at the World Tournament is shown to have a power of "137." Yet later, in the dub, someone comments on him having a punch power of "139." (Master Roshi's power level is 139, which probably created this confusion.)

Originally, the background music was composed by Kenji Yamamoto. However, on March 9, 2011, following the airing of episode 95, Yamamoto was fired by Toei for accusations of plagiarism in his music. In subsequent reruns of the first 95 episodes, his score was replaced with Shunsuke Kikuchi's from "Dragon Ball Z", and the last three episodes of the Cell Arc, which were supposed to have the Yamamoto BGM, were replaced at the last minute with the Kikuchi score before they could have aired.
