The Split Wife (2007)

I saw this student film during 2007's Animago Award, which showcases the year's best in visual effects and digital compositing. And it's amazing what those guys achieved, especially considering the limits of film school budget and equipment. The character animation is really good, while colors and lighting create a thrilling erotic atmosphere of both danger and temptation (the IMDb recommendation "Basic Instinct" kind of hits it, for me). Fortunately, the design always came organically from what the characters went through. The story always came first. This is something rare in many student's films. Let's hope to see more from that director!
