Years back this Girlfriends series was intriguing, presenting often engaging soap opera plots and story lines. But this edition is perfunctory, low on drama or credibility.
Chanel Preston takes the lead role in her scenery-chewing style, She bawls out young Melissa May for sexting nude photos of herself, and then humps the kid. Later Preston seduces Shyla Ryder. Not much meat on these slim story bones.
The more famous Shyla, namely lesbian superstar Jennings, is caught by Preston horsing around with Jackie Marie. After the dumb build-up, the kids have sex together. Veruca James seduces young Shauna Skye after a typical 4-woman shot of the two of them chatting about school with Preston and Shyla Ryder. Pointless.
