  • Due to her role and background in the military of a country that is actively trying to displace an indigenous population, casting gal Gadot for this show is insensitive and out of touch.

The show seemed disingenuous and seemed to overlook one humanitarian disaster for another.

To non zionists this is like seeing a soldier of the Russian military come out, not mention Ukraine, and just start lecturing people of the importance of peaceful international relationship for all countries. Complete bogus.

The topic of the show was very interesting, and definitely deserves the attention of other a list cast.
  • What a horrible choice for Nat Geo, Gal Gadot perfectly represents the colonizers coming from other land, displacing and killing indigenous peoples, the palestinians.

How out of touch is this.

There are many important stories to be told, not by the colonizers but by the indigenous people themselves.

So again, under a false claim of caring to hear the stories of the oppressed, we are presented with an extension of the laundering of the image of the colonist zionist project.

Maybe North Americans identify closely with the zionist colonialist project as in many ways it mirrors the north american project itself. But for us who understand, lived and are fighting against this project, against the Ionist genocide of our peiple, fighting against our displacement, this is VERY OFFENSIVE.
  • I don't have a problem with Gal hosting this but I do have a problem with one of the episodes. If Kayla wants to help trans women of color it's up to her. However, what about actual bio women. This is just another example how real women get screwed over because of political narratives. What about homeless bio women of color or homeless women, period? It's just so sad that bio women are getting overlooked AGAIN in order to protect men. We worked hard to get where we are today just to be kicked back down by men who identify being women. This is just plain crazy and totally disrespects bio women.
  • To see women helping each other and being celebrating is amazing and rejuvenating. To learn about the different ways women support each other is inspiring and something I hope everyone is inspired to do in their own lives, and inspired small changes in mine.

People are very real and very focused on the good they did in their world, and I thing everyone could use the same in theirs, and challenges the way you think about your own life, and what you can do to improve people's lives, instead of tearing down other for things like existing and breathing. It would take forever to film every single injustice being solved by women, but it's a good taste of good that's being done and not talked about.
