This Fool

I am not Mexican or Latina, but so enjoyed This Fool - and all his family and friends. It was like being a fly on the wall and seeing absolutely everything - good, bad and ugly - which is usually seen as funny by someone in everyone's family! Watching the changes and growth in the group was a lot of fun and rewarding.

The one problem I had was with Julio's age. 31? Really? Are we fudging just a bit?

Please let there be more seasons in the offing. We need them, so we can laugh - at ourselves through them.

I wasn't sure what to expect but it is hilarious especially as you get to know the characters. The characters are built with good depth throughout the series and (I hope) there's another season to go deeper on some of them. The chemistry between Luis and Julio is exactly like real cousins. Everyone has real, but funny flaws. The situations are also based in real life but have that funny spin. I was very surprised by this show and hope to see more.

This show is borderline perfection. It reminds me of my childhood and just overall a really good time watching You can't help but just laugh.each episode just makes new memories come back.

From first impressions I thought this was gonna be stupid but it's more like stupid funny. Julio has the quintessential Mexican American look. And all the regular American ailments. He has emotional issues with Jessie, lactose intolerant and was bullied by Luis is his bully older cousin who now has to learn from Julio. The whole thing is fun and it has a good story line with interesting dialogue and Luis's beatboxing is not bad.

The best thing is that this show is intelligent and treats the homie culture with respect!

Honestly I was surprised with this show. I didn't know how it would be coming in but I loved it. More people should check it out. It had heart and made me laugh more than I thought it would. I'm glad it had more mature language because sometimes it makes me feel goofy when they try to get around cursing. Just doesn't feel right.
