I know why Buttman is so highly regarded in the porn industry, considered at or near the top of all-time greats. It reflects an inversion of values, encouraged slavishly by most industry orgs (AVN, XBIZ, etc.), that reveres gonzo, promotes payola/quid pro quo activity, and generally pretends to maintain a glorification of the "outlaw" as rebel, so charges of obscenity are instantly lauded as a badge of courage. No surprise when folks rallied around John Stagliano as he had his day in court back in 2010.
But Buttman aka John Stagliano is embarrassingly untalented, amply demonstrated in his hundreds of videos that have elevated amateurish, self-absorbed filmmaking (most obviously his much-copied fondling from behind the camera of the talent on screen which would be called sexual harassment in a mainstream industry) into the model for others.
Here we have him attempting to live off the success of his one debatable work of artistry, a dance-related live sex show and its video off-shoots. But this overpriced shuck of a double DVD-set is worthless, inept gonzo content -strictly hackwork. And of course, it received a "Best Featurette Film" award from AVN, whatever that means.
The actual movie runs 96 minutes and is merely an extended sex scene of Rocco Siffredi, nominally representing the fashion designer role played in earlier "Fashionistas" movies, having rough sex with petite Emma Hix, metastasizing into a threesome with equally petite Naomi Swann. Sole plot gimmick has Naomi masturbating before a drone tells her (using the voice of kink expert on the crew Aiden Starr) to "follow me; I can help you find your girlfriend".
This "little white chicks, big white monster dick" content, to paraphrase similar industry gonzo giant and obscenity charges-battler Jake Steed, is augmented by a second disk doubling the overall run time with ridiculous "making of" filler that earns actress Adira Allure some credit, and even shows her being humped by Rocco by the spiral staircase in a Bonus Scene. Another endless Bonus Scene features Riley Reid and Manuel Ferrara having kinky sex including armpit (you get to google the name of that particular fetish) and foot jobs.
Beyond representing porn in its current crummy, anti-erotic form it also shows how Buttman wastes his raw materials -mindlessly. Entire shoot is at the "Immoral Proposal" mansion, site of thousands of porn videos. Yet the location is used as an interesting backdrop only in the random BTS footage (including Adira posed & humped at its iconic spiral staircase). And his matchup of big-dicked old farts (Siffredi and Ferrara) with frail-looking, underage-looking femme talent (Reid, Swann and Hix) is transparently self-serving indulgence by an over-the-hill auteur, unsubtle propaganda to the effect that "hey, these old guys can still get it up". Thanks John, for not including Ron Jeremy in the sex footage.
