The new, not improved, content from Girlfriends Films betrays the label's original self-declared mandate of two decades earlier, as evidenced in recent releases like this one in the company's central WSW series. Instead of presenting "the most realistic" lesbian sex scenes for "curious minds" we get hokey scenes, not unlike the mindless sort of girl/girl porn from earlier decades, more gonzo than romantic or glamorous.
First half of the DVD has four youngsters having fun playing video games and making music. Conflict breaks out and two couples separate to perform mechanical sex scenes after out-of-control Kenzie Madison gets violent, destroying expensive electronic equipment in a rage. Stupid scenes feature resolution of the conflict when host Liz Revamped supposedly replaces the stuff by borrowing Kenzie's credit card.
Second half of the show is about Cherie DeVille's podcast, dealing with women's issues. She interviews pop singer Lacy Lennon about a new record release and seduces the redhead, while her office staff made up of Jenna Sativa and Reagan Foxx have sex together, stimulated by the sound of sex broadcast by Cherie and Lacy over the air.
This pair of sex scenes is mechanical sex, well-performed as far as XXX goes. Cherie's brunette look is unappealing, and both story premises play as obviously dumb attempts by an aging porn label trying to "keep up with the times" with stories about video games and podcasts.
