As a kid, I grew up watching Batman: The Animated Series and in fact that show was my introduction to the superhero and comic book genre. Since then, I've watched a lot of Batman shows from The New Batman Adventures, Batman: Beyond, The Batman and Batman: The Brave and the Bold. Now in 2024, we've got a new Batman animated show produced by Bruce Timm, Matt Reeves and J. J. Abrams and it is awesome.

Positives for Batman: Caped Crusader (2024-): This show has that feeling that the original animated series had to it, but at the same time it manages to stand on its own. I loved the voice cast in this show from Hamish Linklater, Jamie Chung, Christina Ricci, Diedrich Bader, Eric Morgan Stuart, Michelle C. Bonilla, Krystal Joy and Jason Watkins. I was invested in the stories of each episode and I was never bored once. I also appreciate that this show focuses on a younger Batman as he's this man who doesn't really feel any human emotion and as the show progresses, there are small glimmers of he starting to show some humanity that could definitely be explored in Season 2. And finally, I appreciated the noir approach to this show.

Overall, I had a blast binge watching through the first season of Batman: Caped Crusader (2024-) and I can't wait for Season 2.
