In 1857, Afghanistan was separated from Iran. This took place following the British political and military pressures on Iran. However, the two nations' cultural and identity bonds remained. In 1979, the Soviet Union invaded the country in support of the Afghan government at the time, which set off a massive wave of emigration from Afghanistan. Iran was dealing with the commotion of a newly achieved revolution at the time. Because of the two countries' common historical, cultural, and religious roots a large number of Afghan migrants in hopes of a better life left for Iran. But this was not the end of the story.
