Somewhat good
This episode honestly feels very hit or miss. For me, I think it's enjoyable enough rather than some other episodes this year. That being said, I have pros to discuss. Firstly, the comedy is very good in this episode. I like a lot of the quick and fast humor; Bob and Mario still get a good laugh out of me. Also, I like the atmosphere in this episode with various locations; it's pretty interesting to say the least. Lastly, it's engaging on how things will do down. Unlike some other episodes, I feel a sense of interest on where it was going. There might be an arc, and I hope it's at least something to look forward to.
Unfortunately, I have some cons. Firstly, the story is kind of all over the place. We continue the continuity from SMG4's Origins. It's not a bad thing, but it had me relatively confused for some parts. Some people would hate this due to many problems with the SMG4 continuity, but I was just confused most of the time. In addition, I feel like I should address the "marketable" aspect in the episode. I'm not going to spoil it, but some know what I'm talking about regarding a few characters. Let me address this: while I don't really mind SMG4 wanting to make merchandise for the channel, I feel like this was kind of forced. We see this trope a few times this year, and it kind of holds down some episodes this year. I'm not sure if it will occur again in the next few videos, but it's very possible. These things kind of drag down the episode for me.
Overall, the episode is good, but just barely. The episode is good enough for the adventure and comedy, but it's kind of dragged down a bit with a few things. It's possible that SMG4 is starting a new arc, and I hope it will be good. If an arc is going to happen, we'll just have to see if it's good. While the episode is technically better than the previous episode, I would just probably watch this episode only once or twice. Like I said, it's funny and engaging, but it could've been a bit more. It's just good, and that's about it.
