  • OK, this is exactly the kind of "film" that gives Greek cinema a bad name. It is the director's first attempt in cinema (he has been directing TV serials since the 80s) and its clear from the very first moment that he is no Adrian Lynn. The film's hyper-glossy look makes you wonder if you are watching a movie or a TV commercial for some spaghetti sauce. The story is just TV bullshit- there is nothing special in it to warrant a theatrical release. That is exactly what Greek commercial cinema is today- TV movies that get released in theaters. Not to mention how expensive they are! What a waste of money.... such a shame. The cast also consists of television actors that are mostly talking nonsense and trying to look cool and sexy... This is not supposed to be exactly a comedy but the whole audience was laughing out loud during the screening... Its a shame that films like this are being made in this country.. And even more shameful is the fact that some people actually pay their hard-earned money to watch such crap.
  • I found this movie funny and it created a positive emotional situation to me after it's view. The two actors had physique and mannerisms that were congruent with their respective roles, one as a respectable chef, the other as a more popular cook of the merchant navy.

The actress who is mainly a model played a role that did not demand much speaking but rather sensuality and sexual innuendo in which she excelled. The girl who played the cook's sister was also notable.

The sexual scenes were playful and satisfying and the movie had a clever ending.

    Light as the breeze.

i happened to watch this movie two days ago on the television.i wanted to see it when it first came out because i thought the story ,about two chefs who compete by using their cooking tricks to seduce and win a beautiful woman, was a good story for a light romance.i actually do not favor the actors a lot.neither the specific woman as a seductress.i was surprised to actually enjoy the movie.the actors where enjoyable .the rhythm of the movie was light and easy going.it did not take itself more serious than it should.the cinematography could have been a little better, some scenes where a little dark,i think not intended.i liked the way the two men create a bond and a kind of a friendship in the end.actually you can see it going there, once you know that the woman is not the kind to choose one and have kids.she's like a femme fatale, going from one victim to another with the confidence she's never going to be denied.anyway, some people here buried the movie and i thought i write a review ,say something different, once as i said caught myself enjoying it.now i do not know how i would have felt if i had to trouble myself going to a movie theater and paying to watch it,but as it happened it was a a nice watch.
