Laurie Strode confronts her long-time foe Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago.
When Danny McBride was promoting Alien: Covenant (2017) on The Nerdist Podcast with Chris Hardwick and asked on this unusual project for him, McBride responded-"There's more to life than dick and fart jokes. It's fun and, quite honestly, pretty terrifying to verge into new territory. Now it's accidentally even more terrifying not because of this character, but the history of this franchise and reputation of remakes. We wanna do something special-I mean that."
We're here to investigate a patient that killed three innocent teenagers on Halloween, 1978. He was shot by his own psychiatrist and taken into custody that night, and has spent the last forty years in captivity.
When Michael Myers walks around Laurie's house, the view from the basement shows gaps, dust and even his footsteps through the floor. Earlier the floor was shown to be consisting of square floor tiles without gaps.
The opening and closing credits is stylized after the original 1978 version.
