When the cast for the Fantastic Four was finally revealed in February, fans were thrilled to witness the epic saga returning to the big screens. However, the excitement didn’t stop there, fans were also pleased to see the faces attached to the project. All because the online chatter about who would play each iconic character had surprisingly hit the mark with precision.
More recently, during an interview, industry insider Jeff Sneider provided further support for a rumor that has been buzzing around for months about the casting of the yet-to-be-announced villain for the movie. And it seems that Dune 2 star Javier Bardem might just be in line to portray Galactus, making online speculations right yet again.

Sometime ago it was revealed that MCU’s Silver Surfer will be Julia Garner. Julia will be portraying Shalla-Bal, Norrin’s love interest in the comics, but there is a reality in which Shalla serves as the Herald of Galactus as well, Sunglow.
The reactions to Julia Garner’s casting were extremely polarizing with a good part of the community feeling that genderswapping Silver Surfer, whom 99% of people associate with being male, is extremely disrespectful to the character’s legacy. The second part of the fandom however feels that other versions of Silver Surfer – notably female ones, should get their moment of glory.
Now according to most recent rumors posted on private Pateron by Daniel Richtman, Norrin Radd will join Shalla-Bal in ‘Fantastic Four’ setting things right with the fanbase. This points in the direction that their story will be more comic-accurate than expected.

Some time ago, it was revealed that Julia Garner will portray MCU’s Silver Surfer, Shalla-Bal, Norrin’s love interest in the comics. However, there’s a twist: in some versions, Shalla also serves as Galactus’ Herald, Sunglow.
Reactions to Julia Garner’s casting were polarizing. While some feel gender-swapping Silver Surfer, a character widely seen as male, is disrespectful to the character’s legacy, others believe different versions of Silver Surfer, especially female ones, deserve their time in the spotlight.
Recent rumors shared on Daniel Richtman’s private Patreon suggest that Norrin Radd will join Shalla-Bal in ‘Fantastic Four,’ potentially appeasing the fanbase. This hints that their storyline could be more faithful to the comics than previously thought.

Joseph Quinn isn't concerned about superhero fatigue affecting 'The Fantastic Four'.The 30-year-old actor is set to star in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movie as Johnny Storm/Human Touch and has brushed off any fears that viewer exasperation with the genre could impact the flick's performance when it hits cinemas next year.In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Joseph said: "I think that with the story of the Fantastic Four, it feels like we want to get this right."There are aspects of it that are very different to other Marvel films. Stranger Things Joseph Quinn star has voiced his thoughts about Matt Shakman’s soon-to-shoot Fantastic Four, which will bring Marvel’s First Family into the MCU.
Given that things have taken a dip for Marvel Studios in the last couple of years, there’s a fair amount of pressure on the soon-to-shoot Fantastic Four. Along with the oft-mentioned ‘superhero fatigue’ argument, another reason often put forth for the declining interest in Marvel’s output has been that the studio has increasingly focused on less celebrated characters.
That’s all set to change though, and you’d have to be pretty brave to bet against Marvel coming up short when it debuts The X-Men and The Fantastic Four in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Although a majority of the critics seemingly deemed it unworthy, the original Fantastic Four film series is still regarded as one of the best adaptations ever created. This is because even though a lot of people had issues with the plotlines, pretty much no one had any issues with the cast which included Chris Evans’ widely acclaimed fan-favorite embodiment of the Human Torch as well.

In fact, Evans’ performance as Johnny Storm so deeply influenced the viewers that even someone like Joseph Quinn, who would be continuing the character’s legacy in the upcoming reboot, couldn’t help but praise him. But while he holds him in wide regard, Quinn has also made it clear that his portrayal of Johnny wouldn’t be the same, but rather, something he creates on his own.

MCU has quite a lot of projects to release in 2024, 2025, and beyond. We know that there are several movies being worked on currently and affected by the strikes, but none of them are as anticipated as ‘Avengers 5’ and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ which are expected to continue MCU’s tradition of majestic crossovers.
Although next to nothing was known about the projects, we do know that Kang the Conqueror was expected to take over from Thanos as the main villain of the Multiverse Saga; however, soon after the release of ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’ it became clear that the audience did not react to the new villain accordingly. Jonathan Majors, who was playing Kang and all of his variants, also got into some legal troubles and was promptly fired.
Following this turn of events, various theories started developing, that following Majors’ dismissal the “true” villain of the MCU would be revealed in ‘Secret Wars.

However, following the release of ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,’ it became evident that audience reception to the new villain was not as expected. Additionally, Jonathan Majors, who portrayed Kang and his variants, encountered legal issues and was subsequently dismissed from the role.

Patrick Stewart already came back as an alternate Professor X in ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,’ and Kelsey Grammer returned as Beast in ‘The Marvels.’ ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ will introduce Deadpool and Wolverine, played by Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, into the MCU.
In the MCU, there are already six mutants confirmed. Kamala Khan, who originally had Inhuman origins in the comics, was retconned into being a mutant. The most recent addition is Beast in the post-credit scenes of ‘The Marvels.’ Additionally, ‘X-Men ’97’ enjoys widespread popularity, although it exists outside the official MCU canon as part of the Marvel Animated Multiverse.

The Fantastic Four are called Marvel’s First Family because, well, they actually are. Back in 1961, the company formerly known as Timely Comics transitioned into Marvel Comics. They kept some of their titles, such as Journey Into Mystery, but began a new approach to superhero comics with The Fantastic Four. These new titles would show the internal drama between the characters and not just their superheroics. After these characters became a big hit, the company created other heroes such as The Incredible Hulk, Spider-Man, and Iron Man.
Fox would end up with the movie rights to bring these characters to the big screen but ultimately would produce content that really didn’t live up to what the comics promised. After four attempts (ironic), the rights have finally reverted back to Marvel Studios through Disney’s purchase of Twentieth Century Studios. Now that the MCU is around, fans are interested in...

Kevin Feige confirmed that ‘Thunderbolts*’ had officially changed its name and revealed the new logo for the movie, but he hinted that there’s more to discuss about the asterisk later on.
Even though ‘Fantastic Four’ has been a hot topic lately, especially with Julia Garner’s casting as a female Silver Surfer, the project got only a brief mention. Feige confirmed that the movie will be shot in IMAX and revealed that filming starts in two months, confirming many rumors.
The project faced several delays because of the SAG-AFTRA strike, but the cast was finalized relatively recently. Pedro Pascal will play Reed Richards, while Vanessa Kirby will portray Sue Storm. Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Joseph Quinn are set...

Disney is bringing more than emotional teenagers to CinemaCon 2024, with Marvel Studios ready to unleash superheroes on an already riled-up crowd. In addition to teasing the audience with footage from Deadpool and Wolverine, an F-bomb-dropping Kevin Feige introduced Anthony Mackie to give CinemaCon a taste of Captain America: Brave New World.
Before covering the CinemaCon stage with stars and stripes (metaphorically), Feige added that production on Fantastic Four will start in a few months and confirms that the title of Thunderbolts* does include an asterisk. As for why that is, Feige isn’t about to spill the beans. “We don’t tell you any more about that until the film comes out,” he said. What the hell does that mean? We’ll need to wait to find out.

In years past, a Disney presentation at CinemaCon would be a rather family-friendly affair. Not so this year, with the raunchy, R-rated Deadpool & Wolverine taking center stage to show off extensive footage from project.
The Disney presentation began with a “silence your phone” PSA, with Deadpool and Wolverine in costume, talking about rumors for Secret Wars, the upcoming Avengers movie. But when Deadpool tried to explain his theories for the movie, he was interrupted by a cellphone in the audience. Finally, after being interrupted several times, Wolverine lost his temper and addressed the camera with plenty of F-bombs imploring people to turn off their phones.
Later, audiences got a full-fledged look at the movie that stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman as the title characters and deals with the multiverse. The footage was rife with double entendres aimed at Hollywood, as well as direct references to Marvel and Disney.

Kevin Feige and Anthony Mackie traveled to Las Vegas to introduce Captain America: Brave New World, the Marvel Studios movie that puts the actor in the starring role.
Feige called back to Captain America: The Winter Soldier as something fans still talk about, because it was a relatively grounded action thriller. He said Cap 4 would follow that tradition and showed a new clip.
Mackie has played hero Sam Wilson since 2014’s The Winter Soldier and appeared in multiple Marvel movies before headlining his own series, the Disney+ show Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which bowed in 2021. It told the story of Sam coming to grips with the idea of him becoming Captain America as a Black man in America after his friend Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) retires.

Earlier, we posted an article discussing Disney’s attempt to get Gina Carano’s lawsuit against them dismissed. Carano filed the initial lawsuit in February against the company after she was terminated from Lucasfilm’s “Star Wars” due to a social media post she made on social media. Her statement was deemed “abhorrent” and “unacceptable” by the Lucasfilm Twitter account.
Carano claims that the dismissal and comments made impacted her career.
Yesterday, Disney tried to get the suit dismissed by doubling down on the original defense that the actress was being antisemitic, saying that she “ grotesquely trivialized the Holocaust.”

This X-Men ’97 article contains spoilers.
The fifth episode of X-Men ’97 presents a major change in the status quo for mutankind, climaxing with an attack on the nation of Genosha and the deaths of several major characters. But the most consequential event may be what happens just before the attack begins.
The first half of “Remember It” plays like a reprieve for the X-Men, as they visit a radically different Genosha from the one they previously saw on X-Men: The Animated Series. Once an apartheid nation built on mutant oppression, Genosha has become a haven for mutants, allowing them to celebrate their culture. The climax of the celebration occurs in the Hellfire Gala, a ball designed to inaugurate Magneto and Rogue as the new leaders.
The party ends on a horrible note when the Master Mold arrives to wreak havoc. But just before his arrival, obscured by the fireworks in the sky,...

He also rocked out on his electric guitar in his band, Corroded Coffin, and was pals with Dustin Henderson, Lucas Sinclair, and Mike Wheeler. Sadly, Eddie sacrificed himself, but there’s a chance he might come back somehow.
Fans are eagerly speculating about Quinn’s potential return in the final season of Stranger Things, as the actor himself remains tight-lipped about it. But looks like there’s a deeper meaning behind why he is keeping mum.
