stylish, ruthless, modern and patient

all the virtues of this tense, slow moving, well planned, and true to character drama from TVB. Don't this was popular beyond its means but I was impressed.

The minimal cast, the simple but concentrated plot with not much dragging of scenes and the 2 extreme protagonists makes you want to watch.

It all revolves around an event and someone is wrongfully accused. Then after being release there is plan for revenge from this not so smart of character. Only to evolve from hot headed revenge to a dish best coldly served.

It is not "as much" multi3 generation filled like others TVB series where they need to feed the old actors as parents/grandparents, middle age stars for the lead, and young up-and-comers as little bro/sis or side characters. So it seemed more focused.

Enjoyable and surprisingly good.

Roger Kwok's performance was stunning and I wished that there was a season 2 after his desire to stand up and take revenge.

The facade he displays to others and the underlying sexual tension he had with his stepsister could be brought to a higher level hahahaha.

I really wish there could be a season 2 where Roger finds his birth family and executes his revenge from a protected and overzealous position right above. It should end in the demise of a few characters, doing an unprecedented sickening and perverted show.

In fact, at this current juncture, it is already enough evil - beyond the likes of 'Joker' or some serial killer movie. A psychologically challenging movie is much much better - displaying from inner most desires.
