At 32:12 when Neal "disappears" into a crowd after being on the phone with Peter, it wasn't CGI or special effects, and wasn't even intentional. Matt Bomer just happened to step away at the right moment after filming. It showed up looking like he disappeared, and Jeff Eastin decided to use the footage.

Goofs
Caffrey and Burke break a portion of a brick wall that leads into an old prohibition tunnel, destroying it in the process. The thief was supposed to have escaped through the same route just days earlier, somehow without damaging that same wall.
