As Girlfriends Films turns away from its original mission of two decades ago -presenting "realistic" lesbian sex with romance and glamour, toward today's popular all-sex approach, the WSW series has suffered. Dropping the DVD format for new releases in favor of streaming individual scenes (or VOD for a full vignette feature) is a drag.
"No MILFs allowed" could be a subtitle for this edition, as a cast of teens is on screen, only exception being 30-something veteran actress Aiden Ashley, not cast as an older character. She seems out of place amdist the youngsters, paired opposite Madi Laine.
Current big-bust princess in porn Skylar Vox is wasted in a cornball scene as a rock performer at a photo session, easily seduced by petite photographer Spencer Bradley. Like the other vignettes, the set-up dialog scene prior to XXX action is brief and uninteresting.
Another full-bodied bombshell, Ava Sinclaire, is stuck in a dumb vignette about roommates in an odd couple/"respect my space" mode, leading quickly to instant sex. Her bedmate Jamie Jett is unimpresive.
Most disappointing is seeing Tiffany Watson with her botoxed lips and fake look, alarming that a 25-year-old actress is already into "having work done" (can the youngster be soon going for big fake boobs a la even a superstar beauty like Kaylani Lei?). The set-up portion of her scene with newbie Nicole Sage is so pointless that I had to replay the approximate minute of dialog to find out what was happening: basically girls in their bedroom after a hard day's work at "Shenanigans" (apparently some bar or club) and having sex. Yes, pointless is the keyword.
