The John Waters comment rocks!
I am on the "this movie sucks" team. I got to see it in Canada and what a pile of steaming diaper pudding it is. What happened to the Madonna we used to know? This is about as cutting edge and daring as Wonder Bread. It was like a 1930's fashion, makeup, and hairdo show, not a story or movie. And the "Julie & Julia" copycat storyline? Very original, Madge. Maybe you'll do an original novel for us next, something like "Wars & Pieces"? Snaps to the camera work and earlier mentioned wardrobe, makeup, and hair folks. The actors do the best they can at making chicken s**t into chicken salad. I read a bunch of actors bailed on this project early on. I wonder what they think about this?
