Absolutely disaster. I dont get it how even this guys have to courage to make a movie? In this movie balakrishna's mother looks younger then him. How even audience go to the theatre watch a movie.
Absolutely pathetic story line. How even people dont get headache. This hero and his dialogues are absolutely funny. His pair with shruti hassan i mean he looks like age of her grandfather.
Music is terrible too. I mean honestly dont this guys feel ashamed when they go out and shooting abroad? I hope people get some class and watch better movies so people can make better movies. Otherwise they will create this nonsense.

The film has every right to be named as a MAN MADE DISASTER. Everything is awful in this movie i.e, story, cast, BGM, dialogues. Balayya's dual role Felt like puking, i mean common man we are in 2023. The Jai Balayya hype is way too much to take. BALA KRISHNA should swallow his pride and give up films else his movies may be a virtual way to hell. The only breather this film offers is Honey Rose stellar beauty steals hearts in an instant. I humbly urge the director to read good books and make good movies not such scrap. Balayya's Dialogues, dance steps are hard to endure. The famous Innova scene is a laugh Riot to be frank rated it 1 star cuz there is nothing less to rate. The director must not forget the fact that the plot must elevate the hero and not the sound effects or useless Dialogues.
I'm late to the party with this one so i'll keep it short. I was informed by my Telugu speaking friends that NBK is still seen as a comedy piece of sorts, but has kinda sorta turned things around in the last two films. That's all I knew going into this one, expected a.....Legend (Saravana) kinda film, and while it certainly does fall under that genre, it was very different from what I thought it would be. Rather, the what was expected, the how, pleasantly surprised me.
Long story short - great music, good cinematography, questionable casting with a 90s storyline. Close your eyes and listen to the 'mass scenes' and you could totally imagine an Ajith/Vijay/Rajini still making films like these, and perhaps so would their counterparts in Tollywood. If 'bigger stars' can still make ridiculous, over the top 90s movies, I don't see why NBK should be judged for making Veera Simha Reddy. With 'proper' casting, YOU KNOW the film would have been a boxoffice hit.
I have to say, I enjoyed watching this more than Pathaan and maybe Kisi Ka Bhai as well. Watch it with friends for the collective experience.
If I am going to watch ridiculous movies, I'd rather give props to films that embrace it and make me roll my eyes the least. At least Reddy garu didn't hold down two helicopters with his bare hand, John Abraham can perhaps watch and learn.

I know what I am signing up for whenever I am watching a movie like Veera Simha Reddy. I am there to see the larger than life characterization, ear crunching background music effects and a lot of goosebump moments. About 10-12 years ago when I still had the patience, I used to watch many of such South Indian movies in theatres. Off late, I just wait for such movies to show up on OTT and casually watch them for such moments. With NBK's movies these moments are taken up to a different notch. 2021's release Akhanda surprised me pleasantly and it was very refreshing to see that the movie had a crisp screenplay. This and some of the ridiculous (yet unique) goosebump clips from the theatre which I watched on Twitter made me decide to go and watch this film in the theatres. Also maybe I had too much time that weekend.
Veer Simha Reddy starts off quite energetically like typical NBK movies which involve him playing the dual role. The introduction of the 'mass' and 'dark' NBK character roars on the screen with a superb background score (I hope SS Thamans releases that song soon). However this film lacks the setup for such a great character introduction. There is no suspense or any significant events leading to it. Even the flashback story for this character isn't strong enough to justify the suspense and action. NBK suits very well for his look as Veera Simha Reddy but however it cannot be said the same for him playing the role of his son again. May be it is time for him to explore playing the only senior part and then giving up the junior lead to someone else in such movies so that his main character's impact gets better even if it is for a lesser time. The lack of a decent screenplay for many of the strong characters including Bhanumathi (played brilliantly by Varu Sarathkumar) lets this film down. There are many actors and characters in the movie but they all end up becoming less significant. Duniya Vijay looks and also acts menacing as the baddie but his character doesn't carry enough threat because of how it's written. Shruthi Hassan looks gorgeous as usual and Honey Rose gets to show off her beauty in a song as well.
Veera Simha Reddy had a very good potential to be a better NBK blockbuster but it falls short and how.

We are in the era where Bahubali and RRR movies raising the bar of not only Telugu Cinema but Indian Cinema to utmost. Remember one thing about the audience, as a director, movie maker and as a hero you should think and judge like an audience. That is know as audience pulse.
Why so much blood? What is the necessity to use foul language? Does the dialogue writer come from a filthy family? Why all characters including the kid (the director's son) talks like that? Shame on you guys. You're not only wasting our time and money but also degrading the Value of Telugu Cinema in the name Mass.
First of all Director didn't even know the meaning of the Mass. Director just made this movie as a token of political satire and we as an audience pay for it.
A clear cut depict to showcase how dumb Balayya is. At his age, is it necessary to make film like this? A total disappointment. A total unworthy to even watch on the TV (OTT), I call it as garbage.
Director has to grow up and lean a lot of things and also about story telling. Take classes and do not waste our time. However, I will not watch your movies in theater.
