As a prostitute who has to "fake it" to please her watchful brothel boss (Liv Revamped in a fine cameo) when her stepbrother shows up as the client, Aiden Ashley is letter-perfect. She handles the nuances of role-playing and mixing her character's pretend enjoyment with actual enjoyment -the basic mystery of porn in that the viewer wants to believe the sex workers on screen are truly into it, when we know that that's the effect they're being paid to simulate.
Defect here is increasingly endemic to the popular POV-camera format: Codey Steele as the stepbrother is completely silent, even after sex when he briefly pantomimes a guilty reaction to the faux incest we've watched. He's supposed to represent the viewer -that's what POV is all about, but the silent actor gimmick comes off as phony and false.
