The Lemon Shark is a vulnerable species. The title sets the stage for this movie's exploration of our human species--also inherently vulnerable--but strengthened by relationships and love. I saw myself in this story--as a mother, teacher and friend. The characters, setting, and dialogue immediately draws in the viewer, connecting to the emotions and unsaid motivations and history. Beautiful, touching and inspiring from start to finish.
