  • "Fly Girls" takes audiences on a hilarious journey as a crew filming an adult movie on a plane inadvertently finds themselves aboard a real flight, leading to comedic chaos. The film offers a unique premise that blends elements of comedy and adult themes, making it a quirky and entertaining watch for those who enjoy lighthearted humor and a bit of risqué content. Despite its unconventional plot, "Fly Girls" manages to deliver funny lines and moments throughout, keeping viewers engaged and amused. While it may not be for everyone due to its adult themes, the film offers a fun escape for audiences looking for a moderate comedy with a twist. So, buckle up and get ready to take flight with "Fly Girls" for a wild and enjoyable ride in the skies.
  • Skip this hackwork by Robby D. and catch the seven years after action sequel "Fly Girls Final Payload" by Dick Bush for Digital Playground instead. Watching them back to back I was appalled at the original shot back in 2009.

Its cast suggests a big-deal DP release on the order of its big hits like the "Pirates" films, but instead the superstar actresses are wasted. Writer-director-hack Robby's script is ridiculous, with the BTS short subject showing a clapperboard inscribed with the project's shooting title "Airplane", aiming at parodying that hit mainstream parody.

But Robby's attempts at humor are pitiful, and the sketch of a plot premise unworkable. A porn crew headed by pretentious French director Manuel Ferrara is shooting a reality porn feature aboard a commercial airline without a permit, and the gimmick is that the airport security man (Ben English, giving comedy a try) gets wind of the rule-breaking shoot but confuses the porn crew & players with real airline stewardesses.

So we get English interrogating the real stewardesses (all of them possessing huge breasts) Lisa Ann, Nikki Benz and Diamond Foxxx, and peppering them with questions about how he might get into the Adult industry. Answer is his big dick is his calling card, making for a reverse gang-bang in the cheap set used for this interrogation scene and other porn sequences.

Manuel gets detained by airport personnel Sasha Grey and Raven Alexis, resulting in a three-way.

Meanwhile, aboard the flight we have DP contract stars Jesse Jane and Riley Steele, alongside Katsumi/Katsuni and Jenna Haze, playing the roles of stewardesses. With a nod to Karen Black in one of the "Airport" sequels, Jesse has to land the plane when pilot Frank Bukkwyd becomes ill, and it isn't till the final reel on Disk 2 of the DVD release that the two big stars get to earn their XXX keep in a threesome with airport janitor Marco Banderas.

Running gag has Jenna Haze constantly boasting about all the Adult industry awards she's won, the only perceptive joke in Robby's arsenal. Otherwise it's stock footage, crummy special effects and sets, and standard humping scenes.

Three-hour feature lists a full complement of other actresses who don't show up in the final cut: Yurizan Beltran, Jayden Cole, Alanah Rae and Valerie Dior, so perhaps at least a couple of sex scenes were deleted. Young lesbian icon Heather Starlet appears credited as "Janie Summers", her DP name, probably trademarked like other contract talent for the label.
