A humble businessman with a buried past seeks justice when his daughter is killed in an act of terrorism. A cat-and-mouse conflict ensues with a government official, whose past may hold clues to the killers' identities.
The name of Jackie Chan's character, "Quan Ngoc Minh", suggests that he is Vietnamese with Chinese origin, as "Quan Ngoc Minh" is a Vietnamese name, but Quan is not a common Vietnamese surname (first name and last name are reversed in some Asian culture, in Western format his name would be Minh Ngoc Quan").

You can see the Irish Setter sniffing the hand of Hennesy's man as they are walking on the farm. Then when Hennesy takes a call the dog follows him and gets a treat to follow him. You can see the dog wagging his tail and chewing as he nudges the guy's hand again.
The title is shown as a series of Asian-language characters before it changes into its English title.
The end credits of the film are different in the European version compered with the US and Chinese version. In the European version there is a British stunt team and a Chinese stunt team. In the US version there are a British stunt team; then there is The Jackie Chans stunt team and a small (additional) Chinese stunt team.
